The SBCOE, formerly known as the Center for School-Based Mental Health Programs, was founded in 1998 and is located at Miami University, in Oxford, Ohio. We received the designation of Center of Excellence in August 2022 from the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS). Our vision is that all Ohio’s children and the adults who support them are healthy and thriving. Our annual conference is a cornerstone of how we work to build confidence, competency, and innovation in school-based prevention and early intervention.
